There’s a popular expression that you need money to make money. Luckily, this isn’t always accurate anymore, as you can start making money with just a tiny bit of startup capital and lots of effort

The good news is that this also extends to passive income. You can create passive income streams with just $10 if you have the time and energy to devote to a few projects.

Here are some ways to start generating passive income with  just 10$

Invest In Crowdfunded Real Estate Projects

Traditionally, real estate is one of the best ways to generate passive income. However, the reality is that you often need to save up a significant amount for the original downpayment and deal with being a landlord.

Fortunately, crowdfunded real estate has become more popular over the last few years. Crowdfunding platforms allow you to pool your money together with other investors.

Better yet, many crowdfunded real estate platforms let you get started for as little as $10. While $10 isn’t enough to generate substantial income, it’s a starting point, and you can increase your investment amount whenever you’re ready.

What are your best options here?

  • Fundrise. You can begin for only $10 with five minutes of your time. With over two million users and 291 active projects, the website allows you to invest your money into real estate projects you usually couldn’t.

  • Groundfloor. While the platform recently increased the initial investment to $100, you can get into real estate by setting aside $10/week for the next ten weeks. Groundfloor promises 10% consistent returns with debt investments in real estate.

“The beauty of Fundrise is that it pools money from many investors, allowing you to be part of bigger real estate deals,” said Jeff Rose, a certified financial planner and founder of Good Financial Cents. “Over time, you could earn dividends from rental income or profits from property sales. It’s a more hands-off approach compared to traditional real estate investing and doesn’t require a hefty sum to start.”

Micro Investing Apps

According to Rose, “Micro-investing apps like Acorns or Stash are ideal for beginners in the investing world. With Acorns, your spare change from everyday purchases can be rounded up and invested into diverse portfolios.

“Stash, on the other hand, offers the flexibility to choose specific stocks or ETFs. These apps are user-friendly, providing an easy and educational way to grow your investments over time with just small amounts of money.”

These apps help you get started with investing so that you can learn and build the habit with as little as $10. As your income increases, you’ll be able to invest more money. The trick is to get started today so that you don’t wait until you have more money to start learning about investing.

Flipping Domains

“Buying a domain name for $10 can be a smart speculative move,” stated Rose. “The trick is to think of a unique, catchy, and potentially in-demand name. Down the line, businesses or individuals might be interested in that domain, allowing you to sell it at a higher price.”

The goal is to purchase a domain name that you think will be more valuable in the future based on potential trends or insights. Then, you can flip this domain at a much higher rate than you originally paid.

Rose concluded, “It’s similar to investing in a small piece of online real estate, where its value could increase based on demand and relevance. This approach requires some foresight and a bit of luck, but it can pay off if you choose wisely.”

Create An Esty Shop

Did you know that you could sell digital printables on Etsy? You may have to spend $10 on a few designs or for assistance with getting set up, but if you find a design that hits, you can bring in money with minimal effort. These digital printables can be created on Canva and then uploaded to the platform.

You can also sell products that you make, or you outsource. GOBankingRates recently looked at Taylor Swift friendship bracelets that were selling well. While this isn’t passive income, if you do all of the work, you can outsource parts of the process to remove yourself from the equation.

Sell Your Own Products On Social Media

You can create your own products and sell them on social media. You may have to spend $10 on paying for a cover or getting some editing done, but if you have the time, you can devote it to creating and selling products.

If your products take off, your customers will start advertising for you, and you can hopefully earn money in your sleep.

6 Steps To Get Started

  • Pick a platform to grow a following on.

  • Think of a product that you can sell on Gumroad.

  • Create an eBook or a course in your area of expertise.

  • Promote the product on your social media channels.

  • Create an email mailing series that does the selling for you.

  • Allow others to become affiliates for your product so that they can promote it for you.

Start a YouTube Channel

You can start a YouTube channel for free and invest the $10 into purchasing a banner that helps your page stick out. If your channel takes off, you’ll have videos that generate money for you. And if you can create compelling content and learn how to edit your own videos, you can create a sustainable passive income stream with just your phone.

We listed this last because it could take the most time to grow, but you never know when a channel can pay off.

Closing Thoughts

Any passive income streams that you pursue will depend on your startup capital and your risk tolerance.  The good news is that it’s possible to get started with only $10 worth of startup capital.

Business & Startups 101💡:

1. How can I start my own business with no money?

You can launch a successful business without any startup funds. Work on a business idea that builds on your skill set to offer something new and innovative to the market. While developing a new business, keep working in your current position (or “day job”) to reduce the financial risk.

Once you’ve developed your business idea and are ready to start on a business plan, you’ll need to get creative with funding. You can raise money through investments by pitching your idea to financial backers. You could also gather funding through crowdsourcing platforms like Kickstarter, or set aside a certain amount of money from your weekly earnings to put toward a new business. Finally, you can seek loan options from banks and other financial institutions to get your company up and running.

2. What is the easiest business to start?

The easiest business to start is one that requires little to no financial investment upfront, nor should it require extensive training to learn the business. A drop shipping company is one of the easiest types of new business to launch. Dropshipping requires no inventory management, saving you the hassle of buying, storing and tracking stock. Instead, another company will fulfill your customer orders at your behest. This company will manage the inventory, package goods, and ship out your business orders. To start, you can create an online store by selecting curated products from the catalog available through partners.

3. When is the best time to start a business?

Each person’s ideal timeline for starting a new business will be different. First and foremost, you should start a business when you have enough time to devote your attention to the launch. If you have a seasonal product or service, then you want to start your business a quarter before your predicted busy time of the year. Spring and fall are popular times of year to launch for nonseasonal companies. Winter is the least popular launch season because many new owners prefer to have their LLC or corporation approved for a new fiscal year.

FACT ABOUT LIFE

The foundation may take time to make but it is necessary because the foundation is the one that will determine the height of the building and it's capacity.

A Chinese bamboo take 5 years under the soil without any sign of growing but do you know what when if starts to grow it grows. The Chinese Bamboo Tree grows 80 feet in just six weeks! But let’s be serious, does the Chinese Bamboo Tree really grow 80 feet in six weeks? Did the Chinese Bamboo Tree lie dormant for four years only to grow exponentially in the fifth?
Or, was the little tree growing underground, developing a root system strong enough to support its potential for outward growth in the fifth year and beyond? The answer is, of course, obvious. Had the tree not
developed a strong unseen
foundation it could not have
sustained its life as it grew. The same principle is true for people.
People, who patiently toil towards worthwhile dreams and goals, building strong character while overcoming adversity and challenge, grow the strong internal foundation to handle
success, while get-rich-quickers and lottery winners usually are unable to sustain unearned sudden wealth. Hence work on your foundation it counts on your future.

Success begins with you go for it!

Have  a sucess-filled day 💕😊 🤗

REAL FACT ABOUT RED ANTS AND BLACK ANTS

Did you know that if you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing will happen? But if you shake the jar hard, the ants start killing each other. The red ants consider the black ants their enemies, and the black ants consider the red ants their enemies. The true enemy is the one shaking the jar. The same thing happens in human society. So, before we attack each other, we should think about who is shaking the jar! ~ Kurt Vonnegut

Nigerian veteran actor Sylvester Madu

Nigerian veteran actor Sylvester Madu who was in Cameroon is back in Nigeria. The actor explained what happened to him during his stayed in Cameroon 🇨🇲 During his Facebook live video, he said there's so much to recount about his unpleasant experience in Bamenda, which will be done in episodes.

He speaks out 👇

🗣️ "It's a tragic thing. It's something that was not supposed to happen if the right thing was done by the people who brought me to their country.

Matter of fact, they underestimated my popularity . They couldn't imagine I will pull such a crowd with my presence, so adequate security measures were not made; knowing that their country is a volatile place, with a whole lot of commotion and crisis going on.

From what I gathered while I was there, there is a green zone, a yellow zone and a red zone. In the red zone, you don't just go there. I'm a stranger. There's no way I would've known that where they were taking me that night was a red zone.

The kind of crowd that I pulled, the streets were blocked , traffic everywhere, any sensible organizer will know that this man is not ordinary and should make proper security arrangements, which was a promise that was made to me. Messages of how my movement will look like , voice notes ; out of 100 percent, it was zero percent done.

I didn't want to pull the diva attitude of a movie star to say I ain't going nowhere if you don't get the security you promised. One of the reasons that made me relax is because of the kind of personality I am. I am a free moral personality. I like to mingle with people. Seeing the cheering of the people, I feel I'm loved and accepted.

There are a group of persons that were not happy with my presence or probably they have a notion that I don't know of; the reason why they are angry with my presence. If it's a fight between them, I got involved as a victim. But thank God I'm a victor and not a victim, forever until the Lord comes. My deep condolences to all the familieWhose loved ones are victims of this situation.

even if you are fighting for freedom, it doesn't mean k!lling your own person. It's the wrongest thing to do"

Israel has carried out intense air strikes on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, with residents describing it as the heaviest bombing of the war.

People in eastern areas of the city have been told by the Israeli military to evacuate further to the south.

Israel believes some Hamas leaders are in the city, where many civilians are sheltering after fleeing the north.

Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry says at least 193 people have been killed in the latest wave of Israeli attacks.

On Friday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) resumed its offensive against Hamas in Gaza, launched in response to the 7 October attacks in Israel which killed around 1,200 people.

The Hamas-run health ministry says the number of people killed in Gaza has now exceeded 15,200 people.

Israel's bombardment of Gaza resumed after a temporary ceasefire ended on Friday. The IDF said it had hit more than 400 Hamas "terror targets" on the first day of the renewed operation.

Rockets have also been regularly fired at Israel from Gaza since fighting resumed, including a barrage aimed at Tel Aviv and the surrounding area of central Israel on Saturday evening.

Following this attack, Israel's ambulance service said it treated a 22-year-old man for "minor shrapnel injuries" to the head in Holon - a city just south of Tel Aviv.

At a briefing on Saturday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to continue with the Israeli military operation until "we achieve all the goals" in eliminating Hamas and securing the release of the hostages.

He acknowledged that "a tough war is ahead of us".

Khan Younis and the city of Rafah, on the border with Egypt, were some of the places hit with heavy air strikes, with the next phase of the offensive likely to focus on southern Gaza.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have sought shelter in the area, after being told to flee the north of the territory, which was Israel's main target in the early stages of the war.

The IDF's Arabic-language spokesman posted maps on social media indicating which areas civilians should leave, directing people in areas east of Khan Younis to evacuate further south to shelters in Rafah, an indication that a ground offensive could be imminent.

Hospitals, operating with limited resources after weeks of fighting, were overwhelmed with casualties, and at the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, some patients were treated on the floor.

"A night of horror," Samira, a mother of four, told the Reuters news agency. "It was one of the worst nights we spent in Khan Younis in the past six weeks since we arrived here... We are so afraid they will enter Khan Younis."

Unicef spokesman James Elder, who was in Khan Younis on Saturday, told the BBC that hospitals were already "saturated" with casualties before the strikes resumed.

"There is literally blood in the corridors, there are mothers yet again holding babies who look like they've been killed", he said.

The Palestinian Red Crescent charity confirmed 100 lorries with aid were allowed to enter Gaza from Egypt on Saturday. On Friday, no humanitarian supplies were delivered to the territory.

Talks to reach a deal for another temporary ceasefire and to secure the release of the people kidnapped on 7 October who remain in Gaza collapsed on Saturday.

A Palestinian official familiar with the talks told the BBC that the negotiations were completely stalled, with no contacts or attempts to reach a fresh truce.

On Saturday, Israel announced it was pulling its negotiators from the Mossad intelligence service out of talks in Qatar, which has been acting as a mediator, following an "impasse in the negotiations".

Saleh al-Arouri, deputy head of Hamas's political bureau, told Al Jazeera on Saturday that "there are no negotiations now" and there would be no more prisoners exchanged with Israel until the war is over.

US Vice President Kamala Harris, in a meeting with the president of Egypt, said "under no circumstances [would] the United States permit the forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank, the besiegement of Gaza, or the redrawing of the borders of Gaza".

She also reiterated the US position that Israel had the right to defend itself.

During their meeting in Dubai on the sidelines of the UN's COP28 climate conference, she told Abdul Fattah al-Sisi that peace efforts could only succeed if "pursued in the context of a clear political horizon for the Palestinian people towards a state of their own led by a revitalized Palestinian Authority".

At Saturday's briefing, Mr Netanyahu praised the release of 110 Israeli hostages - women and children - as well as some foreigners.

"Welcome back from hell," Mr Netanyahu said.

The hostages were released in exchange for the freeing of 240 Palestinian prisoners - women and teenagers.

Most of the about 140 captives remaining in Gaza are men and military personnel.

THE STORY OF OLA OF LAGOS

He didn’t have anyone in Lagos and only called a friend he knew called “Ope” when he was already on his way to Lagos, and his friend encouraged him to come.

If only he knew what lay ahead of him.

His friend, Ope, lied to him that he stayed in Ajah, and that he had a house where he could stay.

Ola got to Lagos only to find out that Ope was just a laborer who was squatting in the uncompleted building he was working at.

He decided he would sleep in the uncompleted building with his friend since he had no choice but when it got dark and they were about to go in, the security sent Ola out and that was how he was left stranded with nowhere to sleep.

He took his sack bag and decided to enter a bus heading to Ajah from Ikoyi (where his friend worked and squatted) and inside the bus he heard some laborers talking.

When one of them was about dropping, he came down with him, knelt down and started begging him to let him sleep at his place for the night.

The Good Samaritan agreed, took him home, fed him and allowed him to pass the night at his place.

The next morning, he went back to his friend, Ope who now had lost his work and his squatting spot because he brought Ola.

Together they were homeless, they kept searching for uncompleted buildings to work at, when they did, they begged security to allow them sleep there since they were workers.

After a week working as laborers, Ola applied for a cleaning job in an office space in Ikoyi.

At this point, the security at the uncompleted building where he was squatting was threatening to throw them out as he didn’t want to lose his job.

Ola opened up and told his manager at work that he was homeless and needed a place to stay, the manager promised to help if something comes up.

2 weeks later, a better cleaning job with accommodation came up, they were 25 people that applied, Ola was the only one picked and after a week probation, he was given the cleaning work and accommodation.

He was being paid N17,500 monthly as a cleaner in Ikoyi which he doubled by cleaning people’s homes in Lekki after work to make more money.

He has always loved “luxury” especially cars and would always be happy whenever he sees these vehicles drive by.

He would just bring out his phone and make a video of these cars, and post them but due to his poor camera quality, his videos didn’t get much views.

He saved 12k out of his salary bought another phone and continued making videos.

He was doing it out of his love for cars, he never thought it would make him money or bring him fame until the day Tunde Ednut posted one of his videos and it blew up.

He started getting followers, this encouraged him, he became consistent, would run after vehicles, make videos and post.

Tunde Ednut kept showing him love and kept reposting.

One day Tunde Ednut promised to give back to one of his lucky followers 2 Million Naira if he gets to 2 Million followers.

He got to 2 Million followers, a raffle draw was made and Ola of Lagos was the lucky winner of 2 Million Naira.

It didn’t stop there, Davido added, he would be sending Ola to a Dubai Car festival on an all expense paid trip and that’s how his life changed.

People trolled and made fun of him because of how his English but he was never deterred, he kept posting videos and making contents.

According to him, he went to a school where they’re taught in Yoruba when he was in Ogun State.

His first paid job was N3k but today he charges up to N1Million for adverts on Instagram.

He has built a brand as the No.1 luxury influencer in Nigeria and he has done it in his own way and it all started from an uncompleted building somewhere in Ikoyi.

It wasn’t always plenty for Ola who came from a very poor background but today IT’S PLENTY!!!

Today he owns a luxury car dealership named “Ola Of Lagos Autos” and luxury clothing line.

He has houses and drives two luxury Mercedes Benz, a boy that came to Lagos with nothing but a sack bag.

And it’s all down to hard-work, honesty, CONSISTENCY and the Grace of God.

He came to Lagos with nothing but a bag of dreams but today he’s at the top of luxury influencing in Nigeria.

One thing is certain, people like Tunde Ednut and Davido will NEVER go down no matter how much people try because they’ve built people, they’ve invested in people.

God will send our destiny helpers our way but until they come, start something, do something, so when they come, they will have something to invest in.

Happy Weekend Guys!!!

Congrats to Ola of Lagos @real_olaoflagos
